Black box solutions are both vehicle and radio specific integration devices that allow your factory radio to play and control the iPod or iPhone. Such as our Porsche iPod integration solution which allows for the Porsche radio to emulate the iPod controls as if it was a CD Changer.

For those that were born after 1995, a CD changer is a device that plays back multiple CD discs which are shaped like an Xbox/PlayStation game disk but only have music on it.

Well what does that mean? You just spent a few hundred dollars on an alarm system to protect your vehicle and you go to bed at night feeling easy knowing that your vehicle has an alarm system, but is your vehicle really protected? Time and time again we hear from many people across the nation or read the stories online in forums that the vehicle was broken into or worse, stolen and had an aftermarket security system installed on it. So what to do?

First by definition an alarm is a signal that warns or alerts while security is the state of being protected or safe from harm. Two different terms each describing an aftermarket or factory system, but which one would you prefer for your vehicle?

Currently this is an alarm system as it will warn or alert anyone within ear shot of the vehicle. Now there is some limitations to the basic system as it does not monitor the trunk or hatch depending on the vehicle and the hood leaving them vulnerable to thieves. A pin switch at a minimal reasonable price can be added to ensure that they are integrated into the alarm system.

Most camera integrations will display Rear Dynamic Parking Assistance Lines that move along with the steering wheel position. Further, a second video input can be used for any other composite video source, such as a FLIR Night Vision or front view camera that is activated automatically when you place the vehicle in drive or can be turned on by pressing the a button on the steering wheel controls for 3 seconds.

Pretty much everything! With the new Viper Systems even the way we integrate the remote start system to your vehicle has changed. With the introduction of Viper's digital solutions no more are we going wire to wire on the newer vehicles. Today we load a digital remote start system up with vehicle specific software and connect it to your vehicles data system which will send the commands from your new remote control, factory remote control or your smartphone to start, lock, unlock, slide open the doors or pop your trunk. Further, Viper released a few vehicle specific T-harnesses that allow for up to 70% of the wires to be now plug and play with factory plugs. We just unplug your factory harness, plug it into the Viper harness and the reinsert the Viper harness into your factory plug location.
