The iLX-W670 featured a vibrant 7-inch class double-DIN touchscreen display with a simple, easy-to-use interface. Whether selecting music, using navigation through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, adjusting audio settings, or switching sources, the layout was designed to be simple and driver friendly.
The iLX-W670 included Alpine’s Sound Boost menu with Bass Boost, Mid-Bass Boost, subwoofer controls, and Lighting Link control for compatible Alpine PrismaLink subwoofer enclosures.
This made the iLX-W670 a strong foundation for drivers who wanted better sound control and the ability to build around Alpine amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofer upgrades.
The Alpine iLX-W670 supported wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, allowing compatible navigation, calling, messaging, music, and smartphone apps to be displayed directly on the Alpine touchscreen.
This gave older vehicles a much more modern driving experience while helping keep important smartphone functions easier to access from the dash.
The iLX-W670 gave drivers strong audio control with a 13-band graphic equalizer, 6-channel time correction, and crossover controls for the front speakers, rear speakers, and subwoofer.
It also included three pairs of 4V RCA pre-outs for adding external amplifiers, making it a good choice for customers planning speaker, subwoofer, or full system upgrades.
Measuring only 2.4 inches deep, the iLX-W670 used an ultra-shallow chassis and was PowerStack capable. This allowed compatible Alpine KTA-450 or KTA-200M Power Pack amplifiers, sold separately, to mount directly to the back of the radio.
PowerStack capability helped add more power while keeping the system compact and preserving installation space.
The Alpine iLX-W670 included a camera input, making it possible to add a rear-view camera or compatible front-view camera for improved visibility when parking, backing up, or maneuvering in tight spaces.
The newer Alpine iLX-W670-M is the recommended replacement for the discontinued iLX-W670. It keeps the familiar Alpine touchscreen experience while adding the important upgrade of iDatalink Maestro compatibility.
When used with the proper iDatalink Maestro interface, the iLX-W670-M can provide enhanced factory vehicle integration on supported vehicles. Depending on the vehicle, this may include steering wheel control retention, vehicle information, performance gauges, factory amplifier integration, climate information, parking sensor information, and other vehicle-specific features.
Anyone can sell you a new Alpine multimedia receiver, but Access 1 Alarm & Audio ensures it's installed correctly and backed by benefits many retailers simply don't offer.
* Installation Note: Vehicle-specific installation parts and professional labor are required for most vehicles and are additional.
